Yield: Serves 4-6
1 head green cabbage
4 oz. butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
½ tsp. kosher salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Oven Temperature: 550-580 degrees
Cut a tiny bit off the bottom of the cabbage so it sits flat. Remove the core with a small paring knife.
Mix the remaining ingredients together and stuff into the cabbage where the core has been removed.
Wrap in heavy duty aluminum foil and place in a small roasting pan.
Flame Height: 1
Roast in the center of the oven for one hour, rotating pan 180 degrees every 10 minutes.
Unwrap and transfer to a bowl. Slice into wedges and serve.
